Each team member gave God glory for allowing them to witness His presence and mighty power at work in them and the lives of the Wala people that we had the joy of ministering to. The team ministered in each village where churches have been planted this year. The team divided up and lived in two of the villages for two days, and showed the Jesus film in both of those villages. Several salvations were reported including a young man who could not sleep after seeing the film and woke his muslim parents up at 3am to talk to them about giving his heart to Jesus. Suprisingly they agreed and then he went to his older brother to tell him of his decision to follow Christ. The older brother is the village prayer leader in the mosque of the village. He also gave his blessing for the young man to follow Christ. What an awesome God we serve!
Besides the salvations, valuable time was spent developing relationships with new believers and church leaders. In one village, team members stayed up until after midnight one night teaching God's word and praying with members of the new church there that were so hungry to hear the truth proclaimed.
The last three days of the trip were spent attending an Easter conference in another of the villages. Several churches from three different people groups attended. It was good to meet pastors and worship and fellowship with 200-300 believers there.
The team challenged those who attended the Praise Day service to prayerfully consider going on the next trip, June 15-27. We ask you to do the same, and if you are interested contact one of the church staff.

Bro. They are back at the hotel all dusty and dirty……They were looking forward to cleaning up a little bit. He gave a great report of visiting in the villages. He said that there have been a lot that have come to the Lord Jesus to be saved. He said if anyone could ever go at least one time, they should go. They have had a wonderful, challenging trip. They are getting ready now to attend the Easter Conference now through Sunday. Continue praying for them. They’ll be back home on Tuesday, March 25th.

Karen Waddell

The church staff spoke with Bro. Steve this morning as well. He reported too that after spending two nights in the villages, the team is now back in Wa. There were professions of faith in the villages and Pasor Daniel said the team's presence was so encouraging to the new churches. Apart from minor illnesses (stomach, etc.), everyone is doing well.

Praise God for the work He is allowing FBC, West Memphis to be a part of in Ghana!!!

Bro.
